Physical Education Teacher (PET)
Job Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct Physical Education classes for students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Train students in various indoor and outdoor sports and physical fitness activities.
- Organize and supervise sports events, annual sports meets, inter-school competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Develop students’ physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills.
- Ensure the safety of students during sports and physical activities.
- Maintain sports equipment, playgrounds, and other physical education resources.
- Identify and nurture talented athletes for participation in competitions at various levels.
- Coordinate morning assemblies, drills, yoga sessions, and fitness programmes as required.
- Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other institutional activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) from a recognized university.
- Master’s Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching or coaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to coach multiple sports and organize sporting events.
- First Aid and CPR certification will be an added advantage.

- Good organizational and event management skills.

Salary
