Job Responsibilities

• Teach English language and literature as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Prepare engaging lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and communication skills.
• Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and a love for literature through innovative teaching methods.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Integrate digital tools and modern teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
• Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
• Participate in examinations, parent-teacher meetings, school events, and co-curricular activities.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and continuous academic improvement.

Eligibility Criteria

For TGT – English

• Bachelor’s Degree in English (B.A. English) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.
• CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage.

For PGT – English

• Master’s Degree in English (M.A. English) from a recognized university.
• B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in a CBSE school.
• Experience in teaching Classes XI and XII will be preferred.

Skills Required

• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
• Effective classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to inspire students and promote a love for language and literature.
• Proficiency in using ICT and smart classroom technologies.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.

Salary

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, experience, and school norms.
